Abstract

The so-called green cars encounter one big obstacle: the provisioning of loaded batteries. The same situation had to be overcome when the first petrol driven cars appeared. Not until the challenge of large area supply of gas stations was solved, the petrol driven car started its triumphal procession. This paper highlights on the one hand which organizational premises are requested for the breakthrough of an electric ecosystem in an green car environment and
on the other which technical features are already at hand. An essential part of this paper focuses on business models in the context of Cloud Computing, which are based on the ongoing EU funded project COIN [COIN, 2008].
